lovely hotel ideal for benidorm beaches and nightlife recommended but not for youngsters probably a little to quiet

The hotel is very clean, and has good food and friendly service. The buffet-style restaurant is of excellent quality. And there's something for everybody, that is unless you're expecting mini-pizzas and pies - in which case you're in the wrong hotel and will be disappointed! The hotel's clientele are generally of the older generation, let's say from their mid-40's to the "sky's the limit" - so it's not for kids - or the club 18-30 generation. And if you're the rowdy, party type - after all, the hotel is in Benidorm, the Don Pancho's not the place for you, and you'd probably end up getting chucked out! By the way, although very comfortable and clean, the hotel furnishings are definitely stuck in a 1980's time-warp - so don't expect boutique! But there again, the hotel management know their clientele and cater towards them. And I guess these kinds of soft, plush furnishings obviously appeal to a lot of guests, many of whom go back year after year, so the hotel must be doing something right.

The food selection was fantastic. I especially enjoyed the variety in the breakfast buffet. Arriving early can help grab a good sunbed by the pool.

Well-maintained and exceptional place, top-class staff from the housemaid right up to the general manager. Excellent and absolutely perfect location for visiting bars and taverns. Found in a very nice area. Beautiful restaurant inside the hotel.

Very central for the nightlife.

The door to the pool opened at 9.00 am - people then went out, put towels on their sunbeds, then returned to the hotel, probably for breakfast. The pool area was very small for such a large hotel and, once towels were on the sunbeds, the guests should stay there, unless leaving for lunch.

It's not all bad, but it's not all good

The staff were really good, professional and friendly. The sea view from the room was fine and the food was consistently well-prepared and delicious.

Room assignments were inconsistent, with some receiving smaller rooms than expected. The noise from neighboring areas could be disruptive, impacting relaxation and comfort.

We enjoyed our stay at the don pancho as the staff were very freindly and helpfull,the location was excellant and the food wasn't bad either.

Excellent it was our 50th Wedding Anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Had a blast hanging with my friends! The food was great, and the staff were super friendly. We checked out the shows and enjoyed the local beaches like Tio Ximo and Mal Pas. The hotel was clean, and the beds were comfy. Nice to see an adults-only vibe, perfect for our getaway.

One downside was the air conditioning. It was hard to control at night.

generally it's for the more mature traveller , so a lot quieter than most holiday hotels, everything about the hotel is very good, cost of drinks etc are very reasonable.

Great spot for a chill getaway

Dined poolside quite a bit, so nice to grab snacks without going too far. The staff always served with a smile, and that was refreshing! The sea view from my room was a major highlight. A bit noisy at night, though-it's Benidorm after all! All in all, it was a fab stay.

We enjoyed wonderful service from friendly and pleasant staff. It was our first Christmas in a hotel and we are so pleased that we chose the Don Pancho. We selected the hotel on the internet and had no knowledge of it. We then were told by several people that we had chosen the best hotel in Benidorm - and they were right. The Christmas banquet was excellent.
